Our Upcoming Club Projects

If you go to any of these projects, please remember to fill out an attendance sheet and turn it into the club secretary Elaine Liu. If you are the only person there, you are the event chair by default.

December 17th -Scarf making project
We will meet in room 321 to make scarves for children
in Kosovo with Aspire Inspire. Join in the holiday warmth.
The project will be from 2:30 to 4:30 after school.

December 23rd -Jane Addams Hull House Gift Wrapping
@ Border's Books 2817 N. Clark Avenue
3 shifts (3-6 PM, 5:30-9 PM, 8:30-11 PM) are available,
maximum 3 volunteers per shift. Volunteers will wrap books
and items for service. The tips received will be used to benefit
the Jane Addams Association. Free Starbucks coffee is served
for volunteers!

Multiple Days -Lincoln Park Zoo Zoolights
Join in one of the most enjoyable holiday projects. Volunteers
get to help small children make reindeer masks, gingerbread
men, buttons, paper candy canes, and assist in various activities.
If you sign up you have to go!! People will get an e-mail confirmation
about the specifics of the event.
December 18, 22, 23, 26-31 and January 1-4
4:40 PM - 9:15 PM @ Lincoln Park Zoo

Multiple Days -Fairygodmother Giftwrapping
Volunteers will wrap books and gifts for customers. Tips
received will be used to benefit the Fairygodmother Foundation.

December 23: 12-4 PM and 4-8 PM
@ Barnes & Noble on State and Elm
December 23: 12-3 PM, 3-6 PM, and 6-9 PM

Ongoing - Teacher Staff Help-Out at WY
Many teachers and staff at Whitney Young have asked for help
with grading, filing, etc.
Please help out at least ONE teacher! It's an easy way to get
your service hours.
